Process Engineering

Manufacturing brings the engineers' designs to life. With specifications, regarding alloy, dimensions, and toll design and function, our production staff takes the next step in finishing your product. Our qualified staffs of 4 auditors/engineers, 3 inspectors and 35 machine operators work in a total space of 15,000 square ft. Whenever possible, we bring all operations including dedicated machining and inspection to the die cast machine. By incorporating several processes in to one station, we restrict product movement within our factory. This not only abates the risk of damage and of missed operations but also ensures “real time feedback” between operations, so corrections can be made in a timely manner.

Finishing

After all aspects of the casting and machining are complete, we apply all aesthetic, functional or protective coatings. The various finishing options include vibratory deburring, a popular finishing technique in circumstances where “pre-plate” or operator handling of the product is important. This method provides two benefits in one process: smooth radiused edges and removal of the oils used in machining and trimming. We offer any combination of plastic, ceramic, steel and other media. Shotblasting provides a “sand blast” finish in a variety of textures. We recommend this technique for both “flash” removal and pre-paint texturizing.
